IndonesiaNZ is dedicated to organizing events that foster collaboration among Indonesian community organizations and strengthen social and cultural bonds.

In 2025, we are excited to host the Indonesian Night, continuing the tradition of offering a vibrant celebration of Indonesian culture. The event will feature cultural performances, showcasing traditional Indonesian music and dance. Guests can also indulge in authentic Indonesian cuisine, enjoy traditional handicrafts, and participate in fun games with exciting prizes, all thanks to our generous sponsors.

The 2025 Indonesian Night will take place on 16 August at the Fickling Convention Center in Mount Albert, Auckland.
We look forward to bringing the community together for a memorable evening of celebration.
 
 

Newly Joined Indonesian Community

BISA (Badminton Indonesia Social Auckland)

This Indonesian community gathers to relive the golden era of Indonesia’s badminton legends, who once dominated the world stage. Beyond improving skills, staying fit, and fostering a competitive spirit, the most important aspect is togetherness. Members enjoy friendly matches, casual conversations, and shared nostalgia. While the focus is on the game, there’s always time for lighthearted chats—just not too much! 

Recent Activities

Indonesian Day on 24th August 2024 presents four main highlights:

  • An exhibition of Indonesian products
  • A food and product bazaar featuring the Indonesian community in New Zealand
  • A competition with traditional Indonesian games
  • A lively cultural performance

This event successfully created sweet memories for both visitors and exhibition participants, as it was attended by a significant number of business people, as well as local residents from Auckland and surrounding areas.
